Tamiflu

It is the commercial name for the drug oseltamivir phosphate. It is commonly used to treat people above the age of two, for influenza. It is prescribed only in cases where symptoms have persisted for not more than two days. Recently it was used to treat and protect patients from swine flu. According the FDA it is not a medicine that can reduce the chances of contracting the flu.
