Women’s nutritional requirements are different from a man’s. This is basically because of body composition. A woman’s body actually contains more fat (yeah we know it’s very unfair) which means that they need to work harder to burn fat. This is because while lean muscles that are naturally present in men burns calories even while they are resting women are forced to work harder to get toned. An average woman needs anything between 1600 to 2000 calories everyday though these numbers can vary depending upon activity levels. Also because of menstrual blood loss, women need to replenish their iron levels. Watch health coach Amy Hendel explain what women need to eat to stay toned.
