What I have a problem with a bit is the tirtslanaon phase from story to design. The thing is: take your example of the ATM scenario's (how a good story should look like). It's easy to follow, but the problem is that the different scenario's all describe different characteristics which influence the design, however you run the risk of losing the overview of which characteristic elements are important (and thus drive your design) and which aren't that important, or even which characteristics there are.To me it somewhat appears to be like (bad metaphore up ahead ;)) a long list of it should this and It shouldn't do that . You then could end up with a single class and a couple of methods with all the characteristics implemented, though that design isn't that great. So to me, the valuable aspect of having good stories (so you know you have analysed the domain properly) is great but should be placed in context a little more, like where to go from here? How to translate these stories in proper design? Which steps to follow? :)

This is an amazing video. I have many rngihboues in Northeast London who are WOTCH clients. They have shared this with me. I have tried to educate myself about WOTCH but I have to say that this video did more than my prior efforts on the web site. I would also like to say that I am aware of the work that the late Dr. Harold Mountain did with others to get WOTCH started. My condolensces go out to Dr. Mountain's family and friends. He was an amazing man who has left an amazing legacy in WOTCH.

Hi,I agree that most of BDD frameworks are oeveldper oriented. But I think that JBehave 2.0 shows some promise here. While you still have most of the features of all other BDD frameworks, the fact that the user stories are written in plain text mode and thus could be easily deported to another tool (like a wiki) gives JBehave an edge. Also the fact that the requirements are easily met (plain text files) allows a better integration with oeveldper tools (like svn for example). Some simple text editor with little validation (the fact that you must use BDD ubiquitous language), and maybe wrapper around maven and an svn client (or webdav) should give it all the possibilities of existing TDR solutions with the ease of BDD for the oeveldpers.
