1. Curd (dahi) with its acidic and conditioning properties helps fight dandruff.
India.com Health tip: Ferment a small amount of curd (enough to cover your scalp) for two days. Apply it and keep it for one hour. Wash it off with a mild shampoo. Do this at least twice a week.
2. Regular henna (mehndi) application has been followed for centuries and has been known for decreasing dandruff. It has curative as well as conditioning properties.
India.com Health tip: Mix henna, amla, tea powder, lemon juice in curd. Add a few drops of hair oil. Keep aside for 10-12hrs. Apply on your hair and leave it for an hour. Wash it off with a shampoo.

Home remedies are fine! But do they really cure the problem? I think they don’t. Well, I had been suffering from dandruff for quite a long time….I used everything right from lemon to curd but to no use. And then just for the sake of trying, I tried Nature Secrets Shampoo Anti-Dandruff and it really worked well.

I’ve had SD off and on since I was a baby. I’ll probably do a video seeirs on it in the next month or so. It it totally possible to loc with SD. You HAVE to wash your hair. It’s gonna look a little crazy till they loc since palm rolls will get fuzzy with the washing but healthy scalp grows healthy locs.

OMG! Finally someone that unatnsedrds! My friends think I’m crazy for ranting about my itchy scalp. Tried everything you listed. May take more time, but try this. Take the little clamps and clamp off the hair around a dread. Dampen a wash cloth (water only) then clean your scalp. Works wonders with less re-twisting. Have you tried waterless shampoo?

Hey girl, thanks for your video! I just trestad mine (only been twisted twice so far). I think I have the same type of scalp issues as you. The lady who did my locs told me to spray my hair once a day with water and lime (1/2 each), but another lady I spoke with said that the lime will dry my scalp out. My scalp itches like crazy at night and off and on during the day. I’ll try to find that Sulfur 8 stuff you were talking about, cuz I don’t wanna have to cut my locs out Your locs look great
i started mine over with 2 stand titwss and wash them every week and a half they dont come out AT ALL a way better way to start locs i will make a video abt it and check out my newest vid!!!!!!!!
