Acne, commonly known as pimples or zits, affects teenagers, adolescents and even adults. More than $100 million is spent per year on OTC acne products. Scarring and post inflammatory hyperpigmentation are the most important complications of acne.
No matter how severe acne is, it affects different people in different ways and many people with acne suffer from insecurities, depression and a poor self-image. Teenagers and young adults are more prone to getting acne due to the natural hormonal changes that take place at that age. Factors like heredity, stress, dandruff, abuse of cosmetics and smoking can trigger acne. Wash your face 3-4 times a day with a mild face wash. Use a mild anti-dandruff shampoo regularly. You must avoid using cosmetics. Increase your fluid intake, especially water and fruit juices.
The cause of acne must be considered while treating them. I recall the case of a 26-year-old patient named Sonali who had tried various ointments followed by oral doses of conventional treatment, but in vain.
Ultrasonography revealed that she was suffering from polycystic ovaries, a common medical cause of acne in females. Few doses of Apis mellifica, a homeopathic medicine to treat polycystic ovaries, resolved her cysts and her acne. The intake of various drugs like steroids and anti-depressants can trigger acne. In such cases, homeopathy treats the primary disease, and the moment conventional treatment is tapered, the acne gets better.
Acne should not be suppressed by topical applications because the outward eruption that we see is a reflection of the internal disorder of the body. Homeopathy offers natural, effective remedies to treat acne. The main goal of the treatment is to control new lesions from forming, heal existing lesions, minimize the psychological embarrassment and stress and prevent scarring.

I am 22 years and have been suffering from polycystic ovaries since past 3-4 years. allopathy doctors put me on medicines to regulate my periods but soon they showed side effects as my acne flared up more and i also started having back pain in my body. the surprising part is that as soon as i stopped allopathy medicines, my periods again became irregular and this is what allopathy is all about. it just cures you for a period of time but not for lifetime, moreover, gives side effects to your body. I have now switched to homeopathy for polycystic ovaries. it’s been around 2 months and i could see my periods getting regular, my acne getting cleared up and energy level in the body increased. WOW, what else can i ask for. I am satisfied now. I was very disappointed and hopeless as my PCOS was not getting resolved but homeopathy raised the confidence in me. I just Love Homeopath. God Bless

This comment made me burst into tears. I feel aecxtl aecxtly the same. The picking only subsides when my wonderful boyfriend is around me. Ive asked him to yell at me whenever he sees me fingering over my face for bumps. It is totally humilliating to be told by someone you love that they notice your habit, but it DOES owrk to help you stop. The real problem is when youre alone, and no-one is around to remind you. Much of my picking is unconscious too. xxx
sir please tell us the exect cause n cure of this????/
Watching this video was quite the wake up call, and actually aeuscd me to start crying at the realization of what I’m doing. I’ve been picking since 13, and I’m 20 now. It’s been almost a daily thing, and it’s even gone to my chest, back, arms, wherever acne shows up I know this is silly but I didn’t think there were that many, especially not as severe, as my case. I take comfort in knowing I’m not the only one, and thank you for this video. I’m going to stop this. Whatever it takes. <3
I also suffer from it, but I have reclntey thought of placing sticky note reminders on my bathroom mirror to remind me when I’m going to go do it, it may also help to print out pictures of the aftermath of picking and taping it to your mirror as well. So while you’re living in the now, you’ll also be reminded of the future and the damage you’re causing, so the now’ won’t be as appealing.

Try the acne gentle aelcnsers. I use nutrogena, clear pore and purpose soaps. I think that the purpose works the best. You have to use it twice a day. Once in the morning and once at night. Also try using an astringent. I use clean and clear. Then If your face gets dryed out from the products use cetaphil facial moisturiser. It contains no oil to block pores. Good Luck!!!!!!!!
Let food be thy dneicime, thy dneicime shall be thy food. ~HippocratesDr. Nicholas Perricone is a pioneer in reversing skin damage and has finally solved one of the mysteries of my life. When I lived with my grandmother, she cooked salmon on a weekly basis and we always ate tuna fish sandwiches on a regular basis. Then, I got married and my husband insisted that I stop cooking fish because he disliked it. That was when my skin changed. For years, I’ve wondered about the effects of diet on our skin and The Acne Prescription reveals the need for advanced care and a healthy dose of antioxidants and Omega 3 supplements. He explains how skin disorders are caused by a systemic inflammatory disease and explains the details of sebaceous glands and how corneum cells block pores. I learned about oxidative stress, foods to avoid, foods to get into my diet fast and why I should look for creams containing DMAE.After reading this book, I went to the grocery store and found some Wild Alaskan Salmon which was on sale for 97 cents a pound. I baked the entire fish and tried to follow the three day diet in which you eat mostly salmon. The diet in this book is filled with tasty choices from the sea. If you enjoy scallops, salmon, crab, tuna and shrimp, you will love this diet. I also purchased the pomegranate juice as recommended and you can normally find it in the produce section of your local grocery store.Other moments of enlightenment occurred while reading about how chocolate can cause your skin to break out, but it is more the sugar than the actual cocoa butter. So, I did not notice any changes in my skin after eating a Hershey’s Low Carb bar and then this book even made more sense. It is the sugar, not the cocoa. Another great product he recommends is Pycnogenol which can be rather expensive, but seems to work very well.Overall, this book emphasizes the need for antioxidants, essential fatty acids and a healthy lifestyle. Avoiding stress is essential and a series of yoga postures are recommended. At least a third of this book is filled with tasty skin-clearing recipes like:Eggs Benedict with Smoked Salmon, Seared Tomatoes, Asparagus and Lemon Olive Oil HollandaiseSpiced Diver Scallops with Ecuadorian Tabouleh and Lemon Myrtle OilPomegranate Citrus-Glazed Apricot and Garlic Roasted Chicken with Apple-Spinach Stuffing and Garden VegetablesSo, this all sounds very gourmet, but the ingredients are relatively easy to find and the directions are uncomplicated. The recipes were all created by executive chef Bernard Guillas. The glossary is excellent and if you read one book on how to care for your skin from the inside out, this should be it.This book is more about lifestyle change than a quick solution. I have only read one other book that is on this level and that is The Metabolic Plan. With those two books in hand, you will have a wealth of information and also understand why lifestyle changes will improve your health. Nicholas Perricone, M.D. has included so many solutions to the problem of Acne that I can only say I’ll be reading this book over and over again. Even if you just suffer from occasional breakouts this book will give you the information you need to encourage a clear, glowing complexion. Many of the ideas in this book will also help you live a more healthy life. I definitely want to read all of Dr. Perricone’s books. He really is an expert on antiaging and skincare.~The Rebecca Review
I have so many pimples with redness& painfull also i used clindamicyn gel bul itis not mprove.
I’ve used Dermify, and it really works! Most other acne urpdocts dry out your skin, which stimulates your body to produce more oil to compensate for the dryness. Your skin then breaks out again, thus causing a vicious cycle. Dermify, on the other hand, moisturizes and tones your skin, while clearing up acne.
You can spend plenty of cash in smures and creams, but there isn’t any better skin-friendly diet like consuming healthy natural food eating habits.Of course, your skin and body is best served by a well-rounded diet, including healthy fats, sufficient protein, and lots of fruits and vegetables. Here are a few nutritional facts that will make particularly important contributions to a strong and glowing skin.FishGreen TeaBroccoliSafflower or Sunflower OilAlmondsRead More Information about these foods
ah god i am in tears reading these tecmonms as well I have been severely picking my skin for almost 11 years now and it is ruining my life with the scabs and scarring I constantly have to hide. I know I have to stop and I know HOW to stop since I’ve gone to therapists and researched it so much but it’s all up to me and having the will to do it. It’s so hard but we have to discipline ourselves and save our skin from being destroyed even further. Good luck to you sweetie! <3
Thank u soo much! I don’t have a large skin picking elrbopm on my face, but I have eczema on my neck and the pits of my elbows, and I’ve been told that I get this crazed look when I scratch those areas until they hurt enough for the itchiness to go away This video just picked me up and told me that I should just stop and have a rethink about what I’m doing
i agree with the glycolic tmetarent answer. i am an esthetician and what you seriously need is exfoliation- deep exfoliation, not the kind you get with a scrub. Glycolic acid, salycilic acid, lactic acids all aim to exfoliate the skin through a chemical process. it gets deeper than exfoliating beads. Those acids also provide much needed anti-bacterial qualities that will help keep new acne from coming up. the best thing to do is find a med-spa that has medical level facial tmetarents available. obagi is an excellent tmetarent- although it takes several months and is fairly expensive, it would be worth it. whatever you do, you need to start exfoliating. the esthetician can also help with the dark circles. good luck.
EVERYBODY, I STILL HAVE SEVERE ACNE BUT MY TREATMENT IS ACTUALLY WORKING! I WASH MY FACE 2X EVERYDAY WITH GLYCERIN SOAP (ITS WORTH BUYING IT) THEN I PUT NORMAL ALCOHOL ON THE PIMPLES AND THE THE MOST IMPORTANT THING I USE MOISTURIZER (Na-Pca NON OILY). < most important to keep you skin from pciourdng too much oil.try it out- im no fucking asshole who tries to sell any products, im 16 years old and want to get rid of this fucking acne!
its true its all about what how u eat. believe me i tried it. eat ruifts veg before (meats chicken egg.) and dont eat or drink any food that contain preservatives, flavoring or pigments eg. caramel, vanilla ,ice-creams, chocolates, Maggi products they are the worst including soya souce and too much sweets. eat and drink fresh milk and yoghurt. and plenty of water. try this for 2 weeks and u see no pimples are coming. but u gotta continue on it.
