Dr. Poonam Kuruganti has 14 years of multidisciplinary, academic and industry, experience in life sciences. Dr. Kuruganti researched her PhD dissertation (Neuroscience) at Loyola University Chicago and postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford University. She joined the biotech industry as a Scientist (Oncology) and moved to an alternative career path in medical communications. During the course of her career, Dr. Kuruganti has functioned as a research fellow, scientist, editor, manager, writer and reviewer. Her writing experience spans scientific, medical, and health writing projects. She also earned a BSc (Zoology & Biochemistry) and MSc (Biochemistry) from University of Mumbai.
